The Chambers Group, located in Vernon, BC is seeking an individual that exhibits a high level of confidence, professionalism, integrity, and a great work ethic.
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day activities in the reception area.
Duties:
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department, greeting visitors, and assist management
• Process in-coming and out-going mail/deliveries including materials of a confidential nature
• Arranging courier pickups and drop offs
• Maintain multiple filing systems
• Order and maintain office supply inventory
• Update and distribute spreadsheets
• Perform other administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
• Positive attitude, inviting personality, and professionalism
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, Google Drive, and Adobe
• Ability to operate office business equipment
• Two years of previous office experience
• Ability to interact well with a variety of personalities
Organizational skills:
• Strong oral and written communication
Hours:
• Hours of work Mon-Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 1 hour lunch break
• 18 month maternity leave coverage
