Job Description:
As the Head Chef/Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations during your shifts, managing a team, and ensuring that each pizza that comes out of the oven is nothing short of perfection. You will be a key part of our leadership team, helping to develop new menu items, training staff, and ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are met.

Responsibilities:

● Lead and organize kitchen staff during your shifts to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
● Oversee pizza preparation, cooking, and quality control to maintain exceptional food standards.
● Train, motivate, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
● Ensure proper food safety and cleanliness protocols are followed at all times.
● Monitor inventory and ensure that stock levels are maintained throughout your shifts.
● Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring timely and accurate order completion.
● Handle any customer concerns or special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
● Innovate and contribute to creative pizza menu development and specials, keeping things fresh and exciting.
● Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
● Handle customer concerns or special requests, delivering an exceptional experience.
● Ensure all team members are working efficiently and that service is fast, accurate, and friendly.
● Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene

Qualifications:

● 3 years of experience in a kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
● Proven ability to lead, inspire, and organize a team in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, toppings, and cooking methods.
● Creative mindset with the ability to develop new and exciting menu items.
● Ability to stay calm and focused during busy shifts, managing both food quality and team morale.
● Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward team collaboration.
● Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
● Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to adhere to all regulations.
