This role involves the installation, commissioning, and start-up of critical high purity water systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for frequent travel to customer facilities across GTA to ensure successful installation and maintenance of these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install high purity water systems and ensure their proper commissioning and start-up.
- Travel frequently to various customer locations across Canada for installations and service calls.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on reverse osmosis and deionization water systems.
- Calibrate meters, probes, and other water quality instrumentation.
- Conduct system sanitizations, replace water filters and UV lamps.
- Carry out water testing in laboratory settings.
- Maintain reverse osmosis membrane systems.
- Be available for a 24/7 on-call rotation after completing training.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
- A background in mechanics is beneficial.
- Ability to accurately prepare and complete paperwork.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.
- Physical capability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift up to 70 pounds.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
