We are seeking a Sales Assistant to provide vital support to our daily sales operations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing order processing, coordinating shipments, issuing invoices, and handling general administrative tasks. You will also interact with customers, manage inquiries, and assist in identifying and connecting with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order and Shipment Coordination
Process and manage sales orders accurately.
Coordinate product shipments and liaise with logistics providers.
Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
2. Customer Support and Communication
Respond to inbound calls and emails in a professional manner.
Collect and organize potential client information.
Schedule client meetings and assist in follow-up communications.
3. Administrative Support
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer information.
Assist in organizing the company's daily operations and administrative tasks.
Support the founder with miscellaneous business-related needs.
4. Business Development Assistance
Research potential leads and gather relevant market data.
Reach out to potential clients and schedule meetings for the manager.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in sales , sales support, or customer service roles is preferred. Previous experience in sales within hardware, flooring, fixtures, or similar industries is highly preferred and considered a valuable asset.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks is a plus.
The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is vital.
Comfort working independently with minimal supervision in a small startup setting is also necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
