Class 1 Driver – Aggregate Hauling

Job Type – Full-time
Schedule – 5-6 days per week (project dependent), overtime hours
Wage – Based on experience and discussed in the interview process
Location – Residence within 1 hour of Coaldale, Alberta
Experience – 2 or more years

Driver Duties:
• Operate truck in a safe and professional manner for shift operations as directed.
• Truck driven include but not limited to belly dumps, side sumps, dump trucks and semi-tractor truck with attached trailers
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that truck is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
• Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness.
• Attaches and removes up trailers, belly dump and side dump trailers, transfer trailers and tilt/transport trailers to trucks as needed
• Physical ability to clean out trailers when required
• Unrolls truck tarp to cover loads when required
• Must keep unit in a clean and orderly condition
• Follows all safety, compliance, and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
• Follow and comply with all government legislation, company policies & procedures.
• Completes all required documents in an accurate and timely manner.
• Completes job tasks with personal and public safety as the top priority.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-year experience operating truck or related experience.
• High school diploma (GED or equivalent)
• Provide a minimum valid Class 1 Driver's License as and a clean Driver Abstract
• Strong work ethic and reliability
