We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Curry Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing a variety of authentic Indian curries and other traditional dishes. If you have a love for Indian cuisine, particularly the art of blending spices to create flavorful and aromatic dishes, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide range of Indian curry dishes according to established recipes.
Ensure that dishes are prepared to high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety protocols.
Manage the preparation of curry ingredients, ensuring all spices and ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Assist in menu development and suggest new curry recipes to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Handle food preparation and cooking during peak hours efficiently and promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in preparing Indian curries in a professional kitchen is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional curry preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
