Explorers before & after-school care program at Cardinal Leger School runs Monday to Friday, with the exception of statutory holidays. The program runs from 7:30 am - 9 am and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Casual job, flexible shift, great for high school or U of S students. 15 to 30 hours weekly. Position starts May 1.

Job Expectations
- Expectation is to be able to care for 15 -30 school aged children indoors and outside.
- Treat all children, staff and families with respect and dignity
- Be a "play-partner"; actively engage with children throughout the day
- Model appropriate and desired behaviour and language
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families and maintain open lines of communication

• Salary $15 - 17 per hour

• CPR/First Aid Certification (asset not required)
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (required)
• Additional hours maybe adding by working as the preschool assistant when required. Please let director know if you are interested.

Schedule:
Flexible working shift. Work May and June 2025, have summer off and return for Sept to June 2026!
