The Victoria Heart House is a two level, 6-bedroom, non-profit B & B that serves as a “home-away-from-home” for patients and family members coming to Victoria for open heart and other cardiovascular surgeries or procedures. The Heart House offers a friendly, supportive, and relaxing environment located just steps to the Royal Jubilee Hospital.

Seeking a mature, compassionate individual with excellent people skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Must have the ability to work independently.

• Part-time weekend position with two 6-hour shifts rotating from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
• Coverage for sick and holiday relief during the week
• Opportunity for more hours if desired

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to telephone and email enquires
• Booking guests on computerized reservation system (training will be provided)
• Checking guests in and out
• Preparing a light breakfast
• Daily housekeeping

Starting wage: $17.40 /hr. To be reviewed after 3 months of employment.
