We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Windshield Replacement and Repair Technician to join our team.

Position: Windshield Replacement and Repair Technician ( glass repair and replacement )

Job Starting Role: Bare Minimum Skills

Availability from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Ability to safely remove wipers and cowling without losing parts or damaging the vehicle.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on learning skills.
Willingness to learn the use of wire tools for glass removal.
Ability to handle and clean glass safely and without breaking it.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy work area, van, and clients' vehicles.
Responsibilities:

- Inspect automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows, to assess damage.

- Repair chips and cracks using specialized tools and techniques.

- Remove and replace damaged windshields and other glass components.

- Ensure proper fit and secure installation of new glass.

- Clean and prepare glass surfaces for installation.

- Apply primer and adhesive systems according to manufacturer specifications.

- Provide excellent customer service by explaining the work performed and addressing any questions.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto glass technology.

- Assist with automotive accessory installation and customer inquiries.

- Exercise strong attention to detail to enhance overall service quality.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification from a recognized auto glass technician training program preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto glass repair and replacement.

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

- Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy glass and equipment (up to 50 lbs).

- Motivation to learn and grow within the company.

- Experience in the automotive field is an asset, but we offer an apprenticeship program to train the right candidate.
