Urban Treasures is a Winnipeg based home decor and furnishings store that caters to all design styles with our large selections of new, pre-loved and locally made pieces. We are expanding to a new second location inside the Outlet Collection Winnipeg (mall) and are looking to hire a seasoned associate to manage our new location. If you love everything home decor, plants (pets) and vintage finds to planning events and helping others style their space then this is a great fit for you.
We are looking for an outgoing individual with management and sales experience, history or interest in decorating and design and a strong sense of community. For our manager position we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate the best customer service to clients and exceptional organizational skills.
Basic plant knowledge, Shopify and Google knowledge are strong assets.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greeting and engaging with customers.
Assisting with decorating choices and gift giving options.
Ringing through customer purchases.
Packaging online orders.
Arranging and wrapping furniture.
Scheduling.
Goal setting.
Daily project planning.
In store event planning and organizing.
Restocking and re-ordering inventory.
Arranging shelves and merchandise.
Basic cleaning duties such as vacuuming, moping and dusting.
Receiving and pricing new items.
Organizing sales floor and back room.
Watering plants as needed.
