Looking to hire a freelance architectural drafter.
The Architectural Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, construction documents, and visual representations of architectural designs using computer-aided design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Working under the supervision of architects or engineers, the drafter translates design concepts into detailed plans that support the construction and permitting process.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
-Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to produce drawings that align with project requirements, building codes, and zoning regulations.
-Assist in the development of schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
-Revise plans based on feedback from project stakeholders, consultants, and site conditions.
Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, structural, civil) to ensure design consistency and integration.
-Create site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details as required.
