Fits inseams from 49cm - 60cm (19.3" - 23.6")

Selling my son's Raleigh Vibe 16" bike. This was the first bike he really learned to ride with no training wheels and it served him amazingly well. He's now graduated to a 7 speed trail bike thanks to the strong foundation he built riding this bike.

I specifically purchased it because I wanted a lightweight bike with no coaster (pedal) brake, only V (hand) brakes, so that when he built the skills and graduated to a larger bike, he would not have to adapt to a new braking system.


I made some upgrades to the bike which made it safer and easier to ride. Specifically:

1) Replaced the stock brake pads with Kool Stop Salmon pads for extra stopping power for little hands, and good wet weather performance as he rode this bike in all weather and through winter.
2) Replaced the stock tires with some BMX style low profile slicks. This made the bike extremely easy and fun to pedal, and made him want to ride it for hours. He regularly took them on some gravel trails and hardpack as well with no traction issues.

3) Added fenders to keep the little ones dry when riding through puddles and wet pavement


From bottom to top position the saddle ranges from standover heights of 49cm - 60cm (19.3" - 23.6"), so if your child's inseam is in that range, they will be able to ride this bike.

Training wheels are not included, but could be mounted. Pedals are standard 15mm, and can be removed to let them practice with it as a balance bike if they're just learning.


I have tuned and serviced the bike, so it's ready to ride with no issues:

-Bottom Bracket cleaned and serviced

-Chain oiled
-Cleaned
