Location: Richmond Hill
Pay rate: $22
Shift timings: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am- 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Manage sourcing, negotiation, and contracting of suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and timelines.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to make informed purchasing decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Lead and mentor procurement team members (if applicable).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management; 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Quickbooks or similar).
Knowledge of contract law, vendor management, and cost reduction techniques.
Professional certification such as CPP, CPM, or SCMP is an asset.
