We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our guests have come to love. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who finds satisfaction in keeping things running smoothly and looking great.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Performing routine interior and exterior maintenance tasks to keep our 60-room hotel in top condition (e.g., painting touch-ups, minor repairs, grounds upkeep).
* Conducting preventative maintenance checks on equipment and facilities.
* Responding promptly and courteously to maintenance requests from guests and our front desk team.
* Operating commercial laundry equipment (washing, drying, folding) to support our housekeeping team and ensure fresh linens.
* Handling basic repairs involving plumbing (e.g., leaky faucets, clogged drains), electrical (e.g., changing bulbs/fixtures), and carpentry (e.g., fixing furniture, minor building tasks).
* Assisting with assembling furniture or installing equipment as needed.
* Ensuring hotel grounds are kept clean, safe, and welcoming.
* Contributing positively to our warm, peaceful, and efficient work environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

* Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a similar hands-on role. Experience in a hotel setting is a plus!
* Good practical skills in basic trades: painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry – demonstrating specialist capabilities.
* A proactive approach – you see what needs doing and take initiative.
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
* Physically capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various conditions.
* A friendly, positive attitude that aligns with our values of hospitality and care.
* Willingness and ability to operate laundry equipment effectively (training provided, but experience is an asset).
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
