I'm a piano and music theory and history teacher with 17 years experience teaching kids, teenagers, and adults, new to the Burlington area, and now accepting new students. I have my ARCT (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto) in Piano Performance and my Advanced Theory and History Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). I have experience preparing students for RCM exams, and I'm happy to teach either the RCM method, another method of the student's choice, or more casual lessons according to the student's personal goals. In my teaching, I start from the premise that change starts with what's being done right, so I work to help students identify and lean into their strengths to improve what needs to be improved.

I teach Classical at all levels, and I'm happy to teach many other styles at the beginner levels. I charge $50 for an hour lesson, $40 for 45 minutes, or $30 for a half-hour lesson. I hold lessons at my home in Burlington, or on Zoom. I may be willing to travel to teach at a student's home for an extra fee, depending on the distance.
