OILFIELD FLUID TANKER TRUCK DRIVERS WANTED

We are looking for 3, possibly 4, oilfield fluid tanker truck drivers. (we are also looking to recruit one field supervisor)

The units are all 2019 or better with a variety of tri/tri and tri/quad sour sealed trucks. There is no slip seating, when the driver is on days-off the truck is parked.

The work is a combination of service and production hauls. The areas of operation range from mountainous to very narrow roads with deep mud. Fluid to be hauled includes sour fluid (0.01% to 40% sour), inverts, condensate, flowback and produced oil.

The pay is hourly starting at 37.00$ to 40.00$ per hour, up to 46.00$ after 90 days, with overtime paid after 8/44 in a week Holiday pay is 6 percent of gross wages. Paydays are scheduled as cutoff on the 15th and 30th with direct deposit of payroll on the 20th and 5th of the month. Work schedules are flexible. A full benefits package is available after 90 days. Safety bonus is calculated at 5 percent of the truck driver's gross pay, paid annually in cash on December 20th of each year.

All PPE is supplied.

Employees who are not local to the area/base of operations (Fort Nelson, Grande Prairie, Whitecourt, Rocky Mountain House, High Level) will be given travel subsidies in the form of fuel gift cards or airline tickets for their days off. Travel pay to and from the base of operations will be paid, within reason, at the same hourly rate as truck operations.

Large scale projects more than 50 kms away from base of operations will see all truck drivers accommodated in hotels with meal allowances and or camps.

As a truck driver applying for this position you must have at least 24 months of accident/incident/spill free work experience as a fluid tanker truck driver. This experience must be verifiable. We do not require letters from insurance companies but your experience will be verified through your previous employers.

As a truck driver you cannot have more than 4 points on your drivers abstract and must provide a 10 year commercial drivers abstract with your resume when submitted. As a truck driver you must have all of your oilfield safety tickets however we can allow for our provision of a safety course that has recently expired.

As a fluid tanker driver you must speak, read and write English fluently and must be a Canadian citizen. Under no circumstances is our company hiring temporary foreign workers or giving out LMIA positions. If there is a concern that as an applicant you cannot speak/read or write English fluently you will be tested for those skills by a third-party prior to employment. If there is a concern that as an applicant you are not a Canadian citizen you will be asked to provide your citizenship papers, birth certificate and passport in order to verify your citizenship status.
