we are looking for candidate for full time OS&D/customer support position. We prefer candidate should have experience in transportation industry or shipping/receiving. The following job duties will be assigned but not limited to.
• Providing administrative support to operations management team including sorting, filing, scanning and distribution of applicable documentation.
• Utilizing multiple transportation systems/software to input and extract data for freight and equipment handling and movement.
• Providing assistance with telephone and email queries from various departments including Customer-Support department, Freight Claims and Sales Representatives related to shipment tracking and tracing.
• Handling and troubleshooting issues related to freight overages, shortages or damages while communicating the issues to the end users, shippers and third parties.
• Working closely with Dispatch, Company Drivers and Customer Support department to resolve issues related to refused/undelivered freight while ensuring to bring resolution into effect at its earliest.
• Analyzing, documenting and applying additional charges to the shipments while sending notifications to the paying parties.
• scheduling delivery appointments. Assisting with processing paperwork for direct dock deliveries/emergency freight pickup from terminal itself, contributing to smoother dock operations.
• Processing return/re-direction of freight as requested by the customer/paying parties.
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
