This plate depicts the story of Pao – Chai who set off to find her absent cousin in the garden and then became distracted by a pair of butterflies.
It is the first plate in the series known as Beauties of the Red Mansion. The art work was done by Master Artisan Zhao Huimin. Upon looking closely one will appreciate the detail in the artists work.
This plate comes with its original paperwork which is in the Chinese script. It is free of any damage.
