About Us: We are a manufacturing facility specializing in the creation of high-quality, precision-engineered custom truck parts, shipping all over the world. We pride ourselves on our consistently high standards and exceptional team and are looking for a reliable and dedicated Laborer to join our crew.
All of our products are designed, laser cut, sanded, bent, welded, grinded, sandblasted and prepped, powder coated, assembled and shipped in-house.
Job Description: As a Laser/Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in cutting almost all materials for our products. You will be responsible for operation and (daily) maintenance of the laser and brakes.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive cut orders and correctly identify materials and files needed.
Initiate and operate the Laser in a safe and proper fashion.
Load new sheets and harvest cut parts.
Monitor gas levels and re-order as needed.
Monitor cut quality during operation and adjust accordingly to achieve clean, dross free parts
Maintain laser as required.
Maintain a tidy work environment.
Communicate with other team members to ensure all necessary pieces are completed in a timely fashion, as other departments need them.
May require operation on other machines, such as a Water Jet, Deburring Machine, etc.
Confidence in operating a forklift (can train if no prior experience)
Qualifications:
Previous experience on a CO2/fiber laser OR other CNC equipment is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-quality-focused environment.
Experience with hand tools such as drills, sanders, wrenches/sockets etc.
Strong work ethic, reliable, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50-75lbs) and stand for long periods.
A commitment to safety and following all health and safety protocols.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
A passion for trucks is not required, but is encouraged!

Shop Info:
Shop is located in Crossfield, AB.
Hours are 7am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday with the possibility of over time.
Steel toe boots are to be supplied by you. All other PPE will be provided.
Wage:
Wage will be based on experience but will likely start between $22-28 per hour.
