Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations AB -BC- AB. 2 round-trip per week , 1st trip( Tuesday-Wednesday) 2nd trip (Thursday- Friday) MOUNTAIN driving experience required, This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight and heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Duties
Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving preferred; familiarity with freight transportation is a plus.
Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
