Proudly Canadian and family owned and operated, we currently have an opportunity for an Entry Level Field-Based Business Development Representative to join our Marketing and Sales team based out of our Richmond Head Office location.
Responsibilities in this position include identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities via the following avenues:
Cold calling followed by visiting prospective customers on-site.
Following up on project and other related business leads.
Establishing, maintaining and developing customer relationships by first identifying and then providing solutions to customer needs.
Collaborating with co-workers and other departments in a team orientated environment. Following through direction from management.

The ideal person we are looking for may be currently employed in a position within inside sales but with an aspiration to evolve to field sales, possessing demonstrable skills and experience in the following areas:

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills including that of being an active listener.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Enthusiastic, optimistic, proactive, and can-do attitude.
Empathy and integrity with a willingness to learn.
Proficient in negotiations with excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent planning, prioritizing, organizational and time management skills.
Excellent knowledge of the Lower Mainland.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Competitive nature with resilience and persistence.
Mechanical skills or aptitude.
Knowledge of the equipment rental industry.
Current Clean Class 5 Driver's License.
