This Sparrow Rat Rod Boss has a hand done paint job that would be as much at home on a prize winning hot rod as on this great guitar.
The tri-colour flames are flawless and the base coat red metallic is deep, rich and smooth. Sure, this Sparrow looks amazing but how does it sound? Answer: Great! This Sparrow features Kent Armstrong pickups, Grover machine heads, full sized, high quality tone and volume potentiometers and a shielded control cavity. These excellent components combine to produce sparkling treble tones and a deep, full bass. Driven, the Armstrong pickups deliver a nice overdriven growl without becoming muddy. This Rat Rod is a little on the hefty side but not unbearable. Just typical for most Les Pauls.
