Double ratchet design for fast or slow pressing.
Basket inside dimensions are 16 in. (40cm)
Cage is made of European hardwood beech and its held in place by heavy duty bolts on three steel bands.
Basket breaks apart in two pieces and is held together by 1/2 inch heavy duty pins
Cast Iron Heavy duty ratchet (two speed) movement weighs 34 lbs.
Solid steel Acme threaded screw is 37 in. long and 1.5 in. in diameter. It is removable and held in place by a massive nut under need of press.
Legs can be bolted onto floor, there are the original hardwood beech wood blocks and half rounds and many more additional hardwood maple wood blocks to extend the reach of the ratchet so that you can efficiently and effectively press as little as one case of grapes.
