Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, often collaborating with other technicians and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs.
Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle issues and repair options.
Collaborate with team members to improve shop processes and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in a dealership or independent shop.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
Proficient in using power tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools related to automotive repair.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.01-$45.27 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
