We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Technician to join our family. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in equipment maintenance and repair, with hands-on experience in various technical tasks, as well as strong communication skills This role is critical in ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Wage to be discussed based on experience.
Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including tractors and trailers. Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for repairs or upgrades.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Tractor/ Hopper Trailer repair or similar fields is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to machinery.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
