I am a 56 year-old male who has suddenly been made homeless (long story), looking for a room to rent on my own, but I am willing to share a room as well. My budget can't exceed about $500 right now, as I am on a temporary disability, going back to work soon.

I would be interested in doing some extra chores or minor repairs and things like grass cutting in order to put it towards the rent if anyone is interested.

Alternatively, I am hoping to find a place where I could pitch my tent in someone's back yard - and pay a fee for that as well. The tent is small (4'x6'), so it wouldn't be intrusive.
