- the desk and shelf are interchangeable
- the ladder is not hard mounted. It's on hooks so you can place it wherever you like.
- The top bunk side rails completely incase the mattress and come up 3 to 6 inches depending on the thickness of the mattress you put in it

- it's real wood not press board wood veneer so you can stand it and stain it if you want to change the color (you can see the word grain in the knots in the last photo)

Measurements :

From the floor to the top of the rails 65 inches

When all the pieces are put together, it's 80“ x 44“

The desk portion is 19 inches deep by 43 inches

The space between the desk and the shelf is approximately 43” and is designed to have a single bed frame and another mattress underneath the top bunk
