Selling Trek Electra Townie 5i Step Through E-Bike. Bike is a 2023 model with only 23 miles on it. Bought bike for my wife because of her hip problems unfortunately her hips got much worse and she was unable to use this beautiful E-Bike. This particular model has a rare factory paint job called "Northern Lights". See photo's for description. The mid point drive system and battery are made by Bosch and it has 4 levels of pedalling assistance. The bike uses an internal gear system (Shimano Nexus 5 speed) on the back hub and is shifted by rotating shifter on the handle bar. Can be shifted on the go or when stopped. If you stop in 5th gear you can simply shift down to 1st (without moving the pedals) to start up again. It has hydraulic disc brakes front and rear and uses Schwalbe Fat Frank puncture resistant 26X2.35 tires. Has factory made rear rack, chain guard, full front and rear fenders, factory kick stand, front led headlight and taillight. The removable battery locks on to the frame and can be charged either on or off the frame and also has a factory rear wheel keyed locking mechanism. Extra's on the bike include rear saddle bags (actually pannier's) can be installed or removed in seconds, has a SunTour SP12 suspension seat post for added smooth ride, Mirrcycle rear view mirror and a front clear flashing light and rear red flashing light both led rechargeable. This is a beautiful cruiser style bike and no difference between this bike or a brand new one. Bike was never left outside, stored in the house most of its life and the Bosch battery is also like new. We are asking $3700 obo for bike with all the extra's.
