SUPERB QUALITY ANTIQUE 1900 WALTHAM RIVERSIDE 17J 14K GF POCKET WATCH

Hello & Welcome .Up for sale we have an absolutely fantastic antique American Waltham Riverside pocket watch with superb quality mint 17 jewel movement in a wonderful looking engraved 14k gold filled case ..Please see photos...

This pocket watch has seen very little no use and is in excellent condition and looks like the day it was made 125 years ago ..This is a full sized mans watch at 50mm wide or a size 16 .Its just been fully serviced & is running smoothly keeping accurate time ..It has a bright white enameled dial still in excellent condition with Roman numerals numbers shiny blued steel spade hands & a sunk sub second dial the crystal is clear & scratch free ..Please see photos

The 17 jewel movement is amazing a real thing of beauty. What I call a piece of working art ,,, Top of the line for this model with screwed in rose gold jewel settings a rose gold center wheel .The nickel plating on the movement perfect with fabulous fancy crisp looking demasking ...Also a blued steel coil over hairspring and bimetallic balance wheel with a rose gold regulator star adjustment wheel,,, all top of the line ..It sure is a gorgeous looking movement ..This is # 22 of only 116 Riverside movements made in that run.. It is stamped A.W.W.CO Waltham Mass Riverside 17 jewel Adjusted.. I have to say that at that time American watch co.. did produce some of the best looking movements of all time ..Please see photos ...

The case is magnificent with a high polished finish and wonderful looking engraved initial done in fancy scrip, another lost art.. To me it's just a wonderful design .It also has a very crisp gold crown and bow...The case is stamped warranted 14 (F) k 25 years the case has lasted 5 times that now & with proper care will last another 125 years & to help keep it that way it will come in a new pocket watch box ... ...Please see photos
