One price for two Vintage Marantz Receivers 2265B and 2216
1. Vintage Marantz 2265B Receiver in excellent condition
I bought this Receiver in 1978 and used it for 12 years.
Perhaps you are a fan of Marantz Brand Audio who wants a one-owner Receiver in excellent original condition because you wish to restore it to its original specifications for decades-more enjoyment.
The 2265B's 65 watts per channel Amp / Tuner sounds amazing. While servicing, I noted the electrolyte capacitors looked normal, but, since the electrolyte within a capacitor dries out over time, replacing capacitors is recommended.
I deoxidized the potentiometers, and replaced all lights in the dial and 2 meters with new OEM incandescent fuse lamps.
I tested the Buttons, Switches, and Inputs/Outputs, all work normally, and the deoxidized Controls operate smoothly.
In photos, please note there are 2 small scuffs on the top edge of the front panel. Under bright light, at a specific angle, one can see a slight scratch on the far-left side of the front panel and tiny scuffs around the hexagon head cap screws.
The black vinyl covered Top has a little mark just right of center, near the front. No photos were taken of the Sides, they are in good shape.
Receiver is not being used, and not setup for demonstrations.

2. Vintage Marantz 2216 Receiver in excellent condition
My wife bought this Marantz 2216 in 1977, and used it for 10 years.

The 16 watts per channel Amp / Tuner sounds great. While servicing, I noted the electrolyte capacitors looked normal, but, since the electrolyte within a capacitor dries out over time, replacing capacitors is recommended.
