This is a 100th Anniversary Edition of the famous Beautiful Joe story. The original Novel by Margaret Marshall Saunders was published in late 1800's. The Story was based on a dog from Meaford, Ontario. This dog was abused by a local Meaford man and was rescued from what would most likely have been a violent and painful death. A Must Read!
