Previously flush mounted in a studio desk. There are some scratches on the left side plastic panel. The wrist rest has been replaced with a custom mahogany rest... professionally made. The unit is exceptionally clean and working as expected. Faders, pots, switches, lights, etc. all functioning as new. SSL has provided Nucleus 2 software which works flawlessly.
I have been using this with Windows 11 and Cubase 14 Pro without issue... rock solid... never a problem. I cannot speak for Mac users. It is my understanding the audio interface does not easily work with most recent IOS for Mac computers. Please do your research. The mic pres however have insert points and can be patched into an external audio interface.
In my studio setup, desk real estate has become increasingly more valuable. Regretfully the SSL has to make way for smaller touchscreen controllers. Fingers crossed I'll have no regrets.
The feel, sound and overall luxury of this "Rolls Royce of Controllers" has to be experienced to be appreciated.
