Hello iam a young person who has been down on her luck ever since I lost my job during COVID and now since then I've been doing odd labour jobs when their available like home renovations like having to clean up all the heavy unused scrap materials that are garbage and just jobs like that but there's not many out there I've also put ads up for house cleaning and other things as well but hasn't been going so well so least to say things havnt been in my favour since then but i still try to keep a positive attitude that something eventually will come my way and work out. Anyway that's a little bit about me but the reason for this post is that as we all know it's starting to get warmer very quickly and last year I had this 10000 BTU sleeve air conditioner as the only thing to cool down my one bedroom apartment. And last year when me and my ex boyfriend had ended our relationship he took it out on all of our appliances including the tv microwave and of course my air conditioner since the I've slowly had to have replaced everything with any warning I'd get from my odd jobs which took forever but some of the things I'd have help with as I just could not keep up or afford somethings as in a tv and now my air conditioner so to make a long story short even though this story is already fairly long (lol) I was hopping that possibly someone somewhere in the community had an extra air conditioner that they wouldn't mind donating to me before it gets too hot to breath and trust me it stuck trying to breath in the heat with my asthma so if someone does have one and would be grateful and very generous enough to possibly either donate a 10000 BTU one or even a 12000 BTU as with the 10000 one we had to sleep out in my living room pull out couch for the summer rather then our bedroom because for some reason it wasn't strong enough to reach my bedroom to make it cool enough to sleep which is fine by me I'll do it again if there is only a 10000 BTU available since beggars can't be choosees. And I don't want to feel like a bum or like I'm asking for handouts so even whom ever has an extra 10000 BTU or hopefully a 12000 BTU I'll even be willing to give them whatever money i would have in my wallet it may not be much but right now it's all I have and I'd appreciate that person going out of their way to help. Because I've tried looking on OKz.ca here for one and the prices are just crazy and I cannot afford what they want for one so thats why I'm reaching out to the public and my community on hopes that someone will take the time to read this long message (I'm truly sorry about the length of it) and possibly someone may be able to help in some way or form.
