Nissan produced the first gen Xterra from 2000-2004. The 2003-04 versions were the best because all the bugs were worked out. The original first gen was arguably the toughest and based on the Earlier Nissan Pathfinders. A little less than 90000 units were produced making replacement parts affordable and easy to find. This vehicle was absolutely babied it's whole life and always stored in a garage. Never seen a Canadian Winter. Used in the summer to go on fishing trips on the prairies (all highway kilometers). Never even off roaded or seen a muddy trail. Owned and operated by a senior citizen and never rat bagged. The interior (especially the back seats) are more or less brand new. If you have any doubts about it's history, take a look underneath and you will see all the suspension and drive train parts are in immaculate condition. Paint and body are in mint condition. Suspension is in great condition. This may be the best condition first generation Nissan Xterra in Alberta. It does have an error code indicating a catalytic converter sensor which can be easily fixed. Engine is running like a one year old Truck. Everything is OEM except for the alloy rims and a bush bumper that was added. Fresh BATTERY and STARTER installed about a week ago. The Truck also comes with all invoices for all the work done to it. It comes with a class 3 hitch with the wiring that was never used. It is ready to haul a camper or bush toys. The first generation Nissan Xterras are arguably the toughest. The older Xterra has less of the modern day electronics that can be a nuisance to work on and significantly simpler and more reliable.
