We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat cutting and food preparation, ensuring high-quality products for our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards and providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations.
Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area and equipment.
Assist customers with inquiries regarding meat products and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill special orders or specific customer requests.
Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management.
Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proficient in food handling techniques and meat cutting methods.
Experience in a butcher or kitchen environment preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Familiarity with various types of meats and their preparation techniques is a plus.
**Experience well rounded ,deboning most meat proteins , deboning chicken carcases and peeling beef tenderloins. Must have over 3 or more years relevant experience.
