1975 Mercury Comet GT/Ford Maverick Grabber “Comrick”
Maverick GT

Originally a 1975 Mercury Comet GT, front end converted to early 70s Maverick Grabber style with real grabber hood and original bumper. Rear converted to small bumper as well.

Factory v8 car, engine swapped for a crate engine (build specs available). Originally a c4 auto, converted to t5 5 speed manual. Transmission could use syncro work 2-3 gear. Will be done if not sold promptly. Car has about 10k miles on it since the resto-build.

No A/C, power steering deleted with delete valve, factory Ford 8” open differential 3.00:1 ratio. Factory disk brakes in front.

Bodywork and paint was done by Freedom Ford in Edmonton in 2013. Body is really nice, but not mint. One spot of bubbling on the passenger door (in photos).

Alberta registered and insured. Comes on the black magnum wheels in photos, can include the centerline-style wheels for the right price.
