Administrative & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, Remote)

Description

We are a modern moving and luxury delivery start-up based in Toronto. We pride ourselves on delivering smooth, white-glove experiences to our clients, and we're looking for a creative, tech-savvy teammate to help us grow our brand.


What You'll Do

- Operations & Administration

• Quoting & Invoicing: Prepare and send customer quotes; issue invoices and track payments across B2B and B2C clients.


• Scheduling & Dispatch: Coordinate move schedules; assign jobs and maintain our team's and company calendar.


• Team Communications: Liaise with drivers and movers in the field to ensure timely updates.


• Customer Relations: Call and email clients to confirm details, answer questions, lead generation,customer-facing and follow up pre-move and post-move.


• CRM Management: Keep HubSpot (or our chosen CRM) up-to-date with deal status, job notes, and client data.


- Marketing Support

• Campaign Execution: Assist with Google Ads setup, basic SEO tasks, and social-media content.


• Copy & Content: Draft engaging copy for email blasts, social posts, and website updates.


• Reporting: Track key marketing metrics; compile reports and suggest optimizations.


What We're Looking For

• Tech Stack Comfort: Experience with CRM tools (Hubspot), outreach and prospecting tools (Apollo or similar tools), Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for light graphic work, and Google Workspace.

• Resilience: This is a very laid-back workplace but we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.

• Outreach Skills: Proven success in cold email/call outreach and objection handling.


• Marketing Foundations: Familiarity with Google Ads basics, SEO principles, and persuasive copywriting.


• Organizational Skills: Exceptional planning, prioritization, and attention to detail.


• Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

• Interpersonal: Customer-focused, approachable, and adept at problem-solving.


Nice-to-Haves

• Understanding of SEO and Digital PR.
• Experience working with teams or clients.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Students can also apply.
