CD 143 Unembossed, Canadian, Beehive-CD 743.3 style.
These are produced from the same mold that made the tall style threadless CD 743.3.
There is some flaking at the bottom of the skirt but I think its two BB dings just add character.
The insulator gets the nickname "whittle mold" because of the uneven, faceted texture on the surface.
The pale purple coloration gradually changes in the dome.
The unique texture makes this piece a step up from your typical, smooth-surfaced CD 143, and the color gives it a nice two tone effect.
An uncommon variant, especially in a great color like purple, and a "must have" for the CD 143 collector!
