A collection of writings about fishing and hunting - think Restigouche and Miramichi - written between 1852 and 1873. New Brunswick was an outdoorsman's paradise. Seven different adventurers contribute their writings. Among them Charles Hallock and Arthur P. Silver. A b/w map on page vi of the Introduction shows the settings for twelve such tales. A few b/w photographs also assist text.
