Irish Red and White Setters are a beautiful, intelligent, funny and versatile breed that make first and foremost exceptional house pets, but are also suited for show, agility and hunting. These are exceptional puppies that have been purposely bred from well chosen lineages. The father is a Canadian Grand Champion and International Champion and the mother is a Canadian Champion and International Champion. All dogs in their heritage have been health tested according to the breed standards. Both parents have received an OFA ( Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) "excellent" on their hips. These puppies have been raised in our home, according to the best standards. They have been weaned from a healthy loving mother onto healthy premium food, and exposed to a variety of experiences including car rides, children, seniors, intellectually stimulating toys, outdoor play etc. They have visited the vet three times for complete examinations and vaccinations, have been microchipped and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. Puppies come with the first month of health insurance provided. We welcome anyone interested to visit the pups in our home on the Sunshine Coast where you can also see the Great Grandmother and an Uncle, but will also bring puppies to the lower mainland for serious buyers.
