Job Description:

Our family is currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic female support worker who is passionate about inclusion, community engagement, and has willingness to learn.

In this role you will support an active individual with a developmental disability in participating in community activities, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and enjoying meaningful and rewarding experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and facilitate safe, engaging community outings tailored to the individual's interests and goals
• Provide respectful support with mobility-related needs during scooter or wheelchair transfers
• Promote social participation and the maintenance of a healthy, active lifestyle
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to respond adaptively to evolving needs or
challenges

Qualifications:
• Prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred
• Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed in
dynamic situations
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (mandatory)
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR
• A recent Police Information Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening, will be required prior to
employment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to respectful, empowering support

Hours:
This position involves evening shifts on Sundays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the possibility of additional hours on an as-needed basis (e.g., to cover staff absences).
