This waterfront oasis is the perfect summer escape! We are located in Laurentian Hills, ON on Colton Lake. The spacious 1930's farmhouse is situated on a sprawling 100 acres of untouched forestry and we are the only cottage on the lake. The water is just steps away, providing you with an unparalleled experience. Berozko House is 3,500 sq ft with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is great for larger families or group retreats. Pets and both short-term and long-term stays are welcome.

We are a 4.5 hrs drive from Toronto and 1.5 hrs drive from Ottawa. Both routes are truly breathtaking as you wind through the heart of the Canadian Shield. Turtles, beavers, Canadian Geese, loons, deer and moose are frequent visitors of our property. If you fancy fishing, bring your pole and tackle for large and small mouth bass, Northern and Walleye pike, smelt, perch and catfish. For outdoor activity enthusiasts we have whitewater rafting, Algonquin Provincial Park, horseback riding, golf, paintball, ATV trails, bike paths and tennis in the vicinity.

✦PLEASE NOTE:
-This charming property is rustic and does not have all the amenities of contemporary living (e.g. tap water is well water, we don't have AC or WiFi - although if you bring a Wifi stick it works there).
-This is a rental for families. No partying.
-Absolutely no hunting on the property.
-Absolutely no smoking or mosquito coils/candles/incense in the house.
-A portion of the lake is bordered by a road, however this does not impact your privacy whatsoever as it is very far from the farmhouse.
-Unfortunately we are usually unable to do rentals spanning less than one week. We live in Toronto and cannot clean in between short stays. ***If it is a last minute booking and the cottage is available, we can try and work something out for shorter stays.
-Regular weekly rental rate does not apply to long weekends.

✦PETS - $75 per pet/week - must be house trained.

✦WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN - drinking water, fire wood, fishing rods, DVDs, propane, towels, bedding and pillows.

✦KEYS - We will meet you at the property upon arrival for a quick tour.

✦CANCELLATION POLICY - Our location and requirement for week-long stays mean most vacationers have to take time off work and plan for this type of getaway. This makes it impossible to fill in last minute cancellations. With this in mind, we require a 14 day notice of cancelations for a full refund. Cancellations 7-14 days prior result in a 50% refund. Cancellations 7 days or fewer prior to the rental date result in no refund. Thank you for your understanding.
