Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be efficient working alone or with the team. Our company does a variety of work including: finish carpentry, renovations, decks, roofing and small new construction. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties:

• Construct and install finishing materials such as doors, casing, baseboard, railing, wall caps, window boxes, built in storage units, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Install vinyl plank or laminate flooring.
• Carry out wood projects such as deck framing, decking, basement framing, framing additions and detached garages.
• Be able to remove exterior windows or doors with minimal damage to existing finishes and replace with a new window/door and reinstall the old finishes.
• Assist with preparation for other trades to be able to their job as efficiently as possible.
Skills
• Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns.
• Experience in flooring installation techniques for various materials.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of standard building procedures and be willing to adhere to HODA's protocol.
• Expertise in fine finish carpentry.
