The Canadian Fire Rescue College is renting dorm rooms to students and workers in need of an affordable housing option in the Red Deer area.

The college dorms are located within a 3 story dormitory building in the community of Springbrook, Alberta (just a few minute drive outside of Red Deer). The dorm rooms are approximately 15' x 10' in dimension (150 square feet), and contain 2 single beds, a radiator, large window, and sink/mirror. Bathrooms are shared, with private shower stalls. There are laundry machines provided in communal laundry room's on each floor, and there is a communal kitchen on the top floor. There is plenty of green-space and parks in the area. 1 parking stall with plug is included.

Residents are also permitted to dine at the College kitchen (located at the main college building across the parking lot from the dorm building) at a reduced rate when open. The college kitchen provides 3 meals per day when classes are in session, cooked to perfection by a renowned Red Seal Chef.

Interested renters must provide proof of enrollment (acceptance letter) to a local college, trade school, or university, or provide two references from non-family members, and proof of employment.

Rental is month-to-month, at $500/month. Pets are not permitted.
