LEARN TO PLAY

My name is Chris Friesen. I'm a musician and songwriter with over ten years of teaching experience, offering innovative ukulele lessons in Winnipeg to children and adults of all ages.

If you want to learn ukulele, I'll get you started! My lessons will get you playing real music quickly, and give you a solid foundation of skills and knowledge to build off of.

I believe that music is a language, and should be taught as such. All my lessons include improvisation (even for beginners) as well as creativity and self expression.

I teach children as young as 6. Ukulele is a perfect instrument for young children to learn, as the smaller neck is easier for small hands to hold.

I offer both in-home lessons (I will travel to your home to teach) as well as online lessons. My prices are as follows:

IN-HOME LESSONS
60 minutes - $60
45 minutes - $50
30 minutes - $40

(All prices include travel costs)

ONLINE
60 minutes - $40
45 minutes - $30
30 minutes - $20

In addition to ukulele, I also teach, guitar, banjo, and bass.
