If you are bright and personable with a high level of common sense and a great ability to figure out things on your own, this may be a great position for you. You must have a car and a flexible schedule. You are trustworthy with great references. You would start tailing my current assistant at your convenience in the next week or so and take the position over in mid-June.

The hourly rate is $23.50/hour.

Our business is in furnished suite rentals, mainly to traveling professionals in Saskatoon on work contract. Your tasks are various. You welcome new guests at check-ins, shop for supplies, and check the cleaner's work (and perform whatever cleaning touch-ups you find lacking.) You might find yourself figuring out how to remove a furnace filter on various odd furnaces; replace a lightbulb in a tricky light fixture; or work out what wrong button a guest pressed on a remote to make the TV stop working. You'll take walk-through photos before each new renter moves in and keep an eye out for any damages the last person might have done.

This is flexible freelance work that needs to fit into other work you might do. You might work 5-15 hours/month, depending on the month. Most errands and in-suite work can be done whenever it works for you, but check-ins are sometimes more firm, based on when the guest arrives in town.

This is not a good fit for someone with small children where childcare is required for you to leave the house. It works best for someone who lives centrally, as most of the suites are central.

It takes time for you to get acquainted with all the suites and develop a memory of what condition they are currently in. I do hope you'll stay with us for years to come. Please don't apply if you are actually looking for a full-time or different job.
