Hiring: Commercial Electricians – Day Shift
Pay: Up to $42.26/hour (based on experience and certification)
6 Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Project Start Date: July 7th 2025
Location: Regina, SK
Requirements: Valid Fall Protection & Aerial Work Platform (Scissor Lift)
Accommodation: Available for travelling workers

Preference for candidates within 150 km of Regina.

Raise Workforce has partnered with an established Electrical Service provider specializing in Lighting and Power Distribution for grocery stores and commercial offices. With continued growth, they're hiring multiple Commercial Electricians for their day shift crew. Positions are open to 2nd Year Apprentices through Journeypersons, with pay scaled accordingly.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Service and maintain electrical systems on-site; assist where needed
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and code specs to plan wiring layouts
- Pull wire, splice, join, and connect circuits; install brackets, hangers, and fixtures
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems
- Inspect systems and components for hazards or defects and ensure code compliance
- Diagnose and repair faults using test equipment and tools
- Connect electrical power to A/V systems, HVAC, signaling devices, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals
- Accurately manage materials, tools, and job-related paperwork
- Show up on time, ready to work scheduled shifts
- Participate in all required safety and planning meetings

What You Bring:
- Construction & Maintenance Electrician OR Registered Apprentice (2nd–5th Year)
- Valid Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform certification (Scissor Lift), CSTS 2020
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with commercial construction and EMT conduit installation
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
- Flexibility to work required shifts
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Emergency standby generator experience is an asset
