DEERING GOLDEN ERA ‘'HEARTS & FLOWERS'' 5-STRING, RT HAND BANJO

Description
$3200

DEERING GOLDEN ERA ‘'HEARTS & FLOWERS'' 5-STRING, RIGHT HAND BANJO $3200

(Deering says:) The classic Deering Golden Era model was inspired by the Earl Scruggs' 1930's Gibson Granada made during the "Golden Era" of banjos. Complete with period-accurate rosewood fretboard, ‘'Hearts & Flowers'' inlay pattern, and Scruggs' neck for fast play and quick chording. It replicates the deep-throated “pre-war”
sound referred to as the traditional “bluegrass banjo sound”.

The GE model was ‘inspired' (copied) from the Earl Scruggs Granada seen at https://youtu.be/iK_nqnoWl6o .

This Golden Era has had moderate play but is in good to very good condition and well cared for. The arm rest shows some expected tarnish but the overall evidence of ‘wear and tear' is surprisingly light. This is a great sounding banjo and personally owned and played but it has not been played much to speak of say, within the last 10 to 12 years, therefore it's overdue to pass over to a new owner who will enjoy it. In this condition this Golden Era is an excellent opportunity to upgrade from an intermediate banjo to a totally band/stage worthy instrument and keeper. I repair and set-up lots of banjos so could set it up according to the buyer's preferences.
