I'm selling my Synology DS220 NAS as I have moved to a larger 4 bay NAS. This 2 Bay Diskstation has been upgraded to 6GB of RAM and had operated perfectly with 2 x Western Digital UltraStar 8TB HDD's setup in a RAID 1 configuration - unfortunately these drives are NO LONGER available and NOT included. The DS220 is covered by an transferable extended 3 year warranty which expires in July 2027.

It can be used with any matched size HDD and can be easily configured to RAID 1 for backup redundancy, RAID 0 for a fast access, or JBOD for individual disk usage, etc. The Synology DS220 is 1.5 years old and ran flawlessly as a Plex media server and Time Machines for my home offices Macs. The Synology software environment is stable and offers a wide selection of software features for an in home office backup system, home IoT server, TimeMachine, Media server with a 100 more other applications and uses.
