Authentic space age Pollux table or wall lamp by Ingo Maurer, Germany 1960's. Elegant, minimalist, adjustable chromed wall sconce / table lamp. Works great! Model 'Pollux' designed 1967 by Ingo Maurer, the 'Poet of Light' and executed by his own company, M. Design, Munich in Germany. Made of chrome steel, consists of a heavy base and a tube which contains the socket and swivels on its axis.
Measures: 7 2/3" in height "incl. bulb". Takes one large Edison E27 base screw bulb. A very rare mid century modern lamp and great design piece.
